Once we have the stone, it’s time to 'read its face!' Our masters study its lines and colors to guess the treasure hidden inside. By lighting it up, you can clearly identify which parts are better, which parts have flaws, where the cracks are, and what it can roughly be used for. Then, like preparing premium sushi, they carefully slice it to find the most beautiful and flawless part.
2.Let’s Draw: Create concepts adapted to the material
Now it’s the designer’s turn to shine! Based on the shape and color of the sliced piece, they start sketching creatively. The goal is to maximize the material’s unique features, designing it into its perfect form, like a pendant or a bracelet.
3. The Fine Carving: Shape with specialized tools and techniques
With the design ready, the artisan steps in to 'carve'! It’s delicate work, using tiny tools to slowly 'find' the pattern within the stone. There’s no rushing this step; it relies entirely on the master’s skilled hands and patience to reveal the shape and patterns.
4. Buffing And Smoothing: Smooth the surface using abrasives
The freshly carved piece is still a bit 'rough' on the surface. No problem! We give it a full-body SPA with various 'sandpapers'buffing it repeatedly until it’s smooth to the touch, prepping it for its grand, shiny finale.
5. The Final Touch: Dressing & Boxing
The final step! We apply a thin layer of protective wax, just like moisturizer, to lock in the shine. After a strict quality check, we dress it in beautiful 'new clothes'(packaging). The stone has officially completed its fantastic makeover and is ready to come find you!
