This intricately carved jadeite pendant features a realistic lotus leaf design, brought to life through the refined artistry of Suzhou-style carving. Measuring approx. 47 × 24 × 4mm, the piece is made from natural Burmese Type A jadeite. Its soft translucency and hints of natural green evoke the quiet freshness of a lotus pond at dawn.
True to Su-style technique, the piece blends realism with poetic flow—the leaf’s veins are delicately traced, the curves gently lifted as if stirred by a summer breeze. Each edge and fold carries a sense of living breath, capturing both stillness and vitality in elegant balance.
The lotus leaf (hé yè) holds symbolic depth: peace, purity, and inner harmony. The word "hé" also plays on “union” and “harmony” in Chinese, making this piece a talisman of serenity, virtue, and auspicious unfolding.
